Managing User-Defined Templates

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Messages → Templates.
3 Select the required template.
4 Press the Menu/OK button and select Edit.

Predefined Templates

Predefined message templates are programmed into your radio.
You are allowed to perform limited edit operations on the predefined template. You can send it, but you
cannot store the edited template or erase it from the predefined template list.

Viewing Predefined Templates

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Messages → Predefined.
3 Select the required template.

Sending Predefined Templates

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Messages → Predefined.
3 Select the required template.
4 Perform one of the following actions:
If...
If you want to send the predefined tem-
plate,
If you want to edit and send the prede-
fined template,

Then...
press the Menu/OK key and select Send.
perform the following actions:
a Press the Menu/OK key and select Edit.
NOTICE: The edit screen
opens with the template text.
You are only allowed to replace
the existing text.
b Press and hold the Menu/OK key to
send the message.
