40: Reduce Initl CPM: Norml/High Temp Env
On a three-step scale, specify copy/print speed reduction at normal room
temperature and above.
Should the temperature of the fusing unit fall below a certain point, the machine will
reduce the copy/print speed to increase fusibility. You can specify three degrees of
copy/print speed reduction.
If you do not specify this setting, the copy/print speed will stay at 90 cpm (full
speed) at high temperatures.
If you select [Reduce Level 1], the copy/print speed will drop to 72 cpm (80% of full
speed) at high temperatures.
If you select [Reduce Level 2], the copy/print speed will drop to 54 cpm (60% of full
speed) at high temperatures.
If you select [Reduce Level 3], the copy/print speed will drop to 36 cpm (40% of full
speed) at high temperatures.

• The setting will take effect if the ambient temperature is 18°C or above.
41: Adjust Cleaning Web Motor Interval
Specify the interval between each activation of the cleaning web.
The cleaning web removes dust and toner on the pressure roller. Reducing the
interval keeps the pressure roller cleaner, but makes the cleaning web wear out
sooner.
