Polarized Plug

This trim router is double-insulated and
therefore does not have a grounding wire
or plug. The two-pronged, NEMA 1-15 plug
has a polarized end, meaning that one
prong (the neutral connector) is wider than
the other (the hot connector). Polarized
plugs must only be used with polarized
receptacles. Do not attempt to plug this
machine into a non-polarized receptacle.
If a polarized receptacle is not available,
a qualified electrical technician will have
to install one before the machine can be
plugged in.

Extension Cords

We do not recommend the use of exten-
sion cords, if you find it absolutely neces-
sary:
Use at least a 16 gauge cord that does
not exceed 100 feet in length!
The extension cord must also contain
a ground wire and plug pin.
DO NOT use an extension cord that
has cuts, exposed wires, bent/missing
prongs, or other damage.
