Purpose of this documentation
This document describes the PSU8600 Block Library. The block library provides tested code
with clearly defined interfaces. You can use it as the basis for the task you wish to realize.
The main focus of this document is to describe:
● All Function Blocks (FB) pertaining to the block library
● The functionality implemented through these blocks.
The documentation furthermore illustrates the possible applications of the library, and step-
by-step instructions to help you integrate the library into your SIMATIC STEP 7 project.
Note
In this document, the function blocks for S7-1200/1500 are described. Any deviations in the
function blocks for S7-300/400 will be pointed out where applicable.
