GPRS Advanced tabs
is used by some network operators to
Authentication
identify the mobile phone connecting to their GPRS
network. There are different methods, or protocols,
for doing this.
: PAP (Password Authentication Protocol).

The user's username and password are transmitted
over the network in an unencrypted form.
: CHAP (Challenge Handshake

password are never transmitted over the network.

: No authentication is required by the network

Check with your network operator before changing
any of the QoS (Quality of Service) settings.

Tip To avoid having to change the phone number when you

As an alternative to entering your username and password
to access the Internet you may need to use a login script
stored on your P910a. Although uncommon, scripts may
be required by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
