The 8528T voice terminal is used with the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) communi-
cation system through a 4-wire ''T''-interface. The 8528T voice terminal offers the following: 28
call appearance/feature buttons, each with a red and green status light, buttons for the Mute,
Redial, Conference, Drop, Transfer, and Hold features (the MUTE, SPEAKER, CONF, and
TRANSFER buttons have a red light next to them), a Speakerphone which can also be optioned
as a listen-only Speaker, a Volume control, the K-type handset which offers improved acoustic
quality, an Adjunct jack for adjunct equipment, and touch-tone dialing. Four softkeys (the keys
with arrows printed on them) and four display control buttons located below a 2-line by
24-character liquid crystal display can be used to access such features as a personal Directory, a
Call Log which lists the most recent incoming and outgoing calls, the Self-Test feature, and a per -
sonalized ringing pattern for the terminal.

Applications

The 8528T voice terminal can be used with the DEFINITY G2 and G3.
