Safety Head Restraints
Removing head restraints of front
seats:
Bring the electrically adjustable head
restraint to its highest position.
Depress release button (1) to be felt
under the seatback covering material
and pull head restraint up sharply,
holding it by the left head restraint
p o st (viewed in driving direction).
Then pull out head restraint com
pletely with both hands.
The release button (1) is located
below the left head restraint post on
both fro n t seats.
Removing rear seat head restraints:
Pull head restraint up until detent is
felt. Then pull it out sharply using both
hands.
Installing head restraints:
Insert the head restraint and push it
down.
With power head restraint it may be
necessary to first push up adjustm ent
sw itch fo r 5 seconds.
Head restraint may now be adjusted
as desired.
Note:
For your protection, drive only with
properly positioned head restraints.
