Orthopedic S eat Backrest

The seats have an in fla ta b le air
cush io n b u ilt in to the backrest to
p rovide a d d itio n a l spinal co rd su p ­
port. The am o u n t o f cu sh io n h e ig ht
and cu rva tu re may be adjusted after
tu rn in g th e ig n itio n key to p o s i­
tio n 2.
The in fla tio n pressure o f the air
cu shion may be c o n tin u o u s ly varied
betw een p o sitio n " 0 " = w ith o u t
pressure, and p o s itio n " 4 " = m ax­
im um pressure, by ch a n g in g the
pressure re g u la to r (1) settin g .

In a d d itio n , the c u sh io n h e ig h t may
be ch anged to five d iffe re n t se ttin g s
betw een p o s itio n " A " = lo w e st set­
tin g , and " E" = h ig h est settin g , by
varying the h e ig h t re g u la to r (2) ad­
ju stm e n t.
If a d riv in g trip is te m p o ra rily in te r­
rupted, th e last c u sh io n s e ttin g is
retained in m em ory, and a u to m a t­
ic a lly adjusts the cu sh io n to th is
se ttin g w hen the trip is co n tin u e d .

Safety Head Restraints

A d ju s t head re stra in t to s u p p o rt the
back o f th e head a p p ro xim a te ly at
ear level.
S afety head restraints, fro n t
H eight a d ju stm e n t:
Press head re stra in t s lig h tly fo r­
w ard (1) and slide upw ard o r d o w n ­
w ard as required.
R em oving head restraints:
Pull head re stra in t up to the stop.
D epress release b u tto n (2) to be fe lt
u n d e r the seat back co ve rin g m ate­
rial and p ull head re stra in t up
q u ic kly, h o ld in g it by the LH head
re stra in t post (viewed in d rivin g d i­
rection). Then p u ll o u t head re­
s tra in t co m p le te ly w ith both hands.

H eight a d ju stm e n t:
Raise o r lo w e r head re stra in t as re­
quired.
R em oving head restraints:
Pull up head re s tra in t u n til resist­
ance can be fe lt. Then pull it out
q u ic k ly using b oth hands.
