The double acting and the single acting actuators both have limit stop bolts in the end caps to limit the outward stroke. The bolt above the air connection interface limits the inward stroke. Procedure: 1. Remove nut covers, loosen the lock nuts and turn out the limit stop bolts 4 turns (see fig. 4.2.9). 3. Turn actuator shaft until the valve is in the desired position (see fig. 4.2.10). Use some pressure on the “A” port. Use a wrench for accurate positioning. 4.2.9 2.
