Fitting The Black Toner Bottle - Canon iR C6800 Series Installation Procedure

Chapter 1
9) Mount back the fixing front cover and the fixing
knob by reversing the work in step 7).
10) Close the middle cover.
11) Close the reversal delivery cover.
12) Close the fixing/feeding assembly.
13) Lock the releasing lever in place; then, close the
front cover.
1.2.11 Fitting the Black
Toner Bottle

1) Take out the black toner bottle from its packaging
box.
2) Open the black toner supply cover [1]; then, push
down the lock lever [2].

3) Hold the black toner bottle [1] as shown in the
figure; then, turn the cap [2] in the direction of the
arrow to detach from the bottle.

4) Hold the black toner bottle with its mouth [1] on the
right side; then, fit it in the supply case [2] of the

machine.

5) Shift the lock lever [1] upward to lock the black
toner bottle [2] in place.

6) Close the black toner supply cover.
If you turn on the main power without first fitting the
bottle in the machine, the black toner level meter
appearing on the control panel will indicate 25% as
the remaining level of toner. Check to be sure that the
black toner bottle has correctly been fitted in the
machine before turning on the main power.
1.2.12 Checking
Environment Switch

1) Set the environment switch to suit the site of
installation.
