Central Lock System

The central lo c k system locks o r u n ­
locks the d riv e r's door, the o th e r
ve hicle doors, the fuel ta n k fille r
flap and the tru n k lid s im u lta n e o u s­
ly. The lo c k b u tto n s o f the o ther
ve hicle do o rs m ust then m ove to ­
geth e r w ith the lo ck b u tto n of the
d riv e r's door. If th is does not hap­
pen, the lo ck of the respective d oo r
is not p ro p e rly engaged. Open the
d o o r again and sh u t it co rre ctly.
The fro n t passenger d o o r and the
rear doo rs can also be locked or
u n lo cked in d iv id u a lly fro m inside.
The fro n t passenger d o o r can also
be locked and u n lo cke d w ith the
key.

W ith the centra l lo c k system in the
locke d p o sitio n , th e tru n k lid can
also be u n lo cked in d iv id u a lly : To do
so, tu rn the m aster key to th e left as
fa r as it w ill go, then depress the
tru n k lid lo c k push b u tto n w ith the
key and open the tru n k . T urn the
key to its in itia l p o sitio n and w ith ­
draw it. To lo ck the tru n k lid, close
it firm ly ; the tru n k lid w ill then be
locke d by the central lo ck system
again.
The tru n k lid can also be locked in­
de p e n d e n tly (fo r instance, to leave
the ve hicle in a w o rksh o p ) w ith o u t
a ctu a tin g the central lo c k system .
Turn the m aster key to the rig h t as
fa r as it w ill go and w ith d ra w it. In
th is case the tru n k lid can o n ly be
u n lo cked w ith the m aster key w hich
m ust be inserted and turne d back to
the left.
Note:
If the fuel ta n k fille r fla p can not be
opened, refer to " U n lo c kin g o f Fuel
F ille r F lap" (page 69).
