Rotate the left side of the clear plastic cover from atop the screws (1) to disengage the adhesive (2) that
secures it. Remove the plastic cover.

Lift the Mylar enough to access the conductive tape (1), and then remove the tape from the right side of
the TouchPad (2).
5.
Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the TouchPad (1).
6.
Using a P0 driver, remove the three Phillips M2.0×2.0 broad head screws (2) that secure the TouchPad to
the computer.
