When the temperature drops below the low-temperature threshold or reaches the high-temperature
warning threshold, the device performs the following operations:
Logs the event.
Sends a log message.
Sends a trap.
When the temperature reaches the high-temperature alarming threshold, the device performs the
following operations:
Logs the event.
Repeatedly sends log messages.
Repeatedly sends traps.
Sets the LEDs on the device panel.
To configure the temperature alarm thresholds:

Specifying an operating mode for a service module

Different types of service modules support different operating modes and provide different amounts of
MAC address table space and routing table space. For information about supported service module
