SDTI-CP signal, depending on the installed board) is
output from the SDTI OUTPUT connectors.
Use the following procedure to carry out feed mode
playback.

Hold down the DMC MODE button, and turn the
search dial to set the playback speed.
When the BKNW-118 (optional SDTI(SX)
output board) is installed
The playback speed can be set to 0.1 to 2.0 times
the normal speed, in steps of 0.1.
When the BKNW-124 (optional SDTI-CP
output board) is installed
The playback speed can be set at either normal
speed or twice the normal speed.
While you hold down the DMC MODE button, the

recording (e.g., MAV-555/2000) through the SDTI-CP
interface to carry out dubbing from the IN point to the
OUT point.
1
Press the CTL/TC/UB button on the front panel
repeatedly to select TC (time code) as the time data
to be displayed on the fluorescent display.
2
Hold down the ENTRY button and press the IN (or
OUT) button at the place you wish to set the IN (or
OUT) point.
3
Hold down the DMC EDIT/FEED button and press
the PREVIEW button.
This VTR prerolls to a point 5 seconds before the
IN point, and then starts playback in feed mode
(preroll time can be changed using item 001 in the
basic menu). The VTR postrolls to a point 2
seconds after the OUT point, and then stops.
The portion between the IN point and the OUT
point is recorded on the connected recorder.
You can set the playback speed for auto-feed
playback in the same way as the playback speed in
feed mode.
