STEP-BY-STEP SET UP
Mattress Pad Set up
1 Place the Mattress Pad on the bed with the label at the foot of the bed
facing outward. This puts the zones in the proper position to warm your
body ergonomically.
CAUTION:
DO NOT plug the power cord into the wall outlet until you
have completely set up your Mattress Pad per the instructions.
2 Place the base unit on the floor under the bed, and run
the connector cable(s) along the floor to the foot of the
bed. (DO NOT sandwich the cable(s) between the
mattress and box spring. Avoid tangling or
pinching.)
3 TWIN OR FULL SIZE: Insert the blue plug into the
blue connector and push firmly until the plastic
hinges of the plug fit into the slots of the module.
QUEEN OR KING SIZE: Insert the blue plug into the
blue connector and push firmly until the plastic hinges
of the plug fit into the slots of the module. Connect
the green plug into the green connector with the
screws facing up.
CAUTION: Cables must be COMPLETELY
CONNECTED. A risk of fire could result from a
loose connection.
4 Plug the power cord into a 110–120 volt wall outlet.
NOTE: If the base unit beeps repeatly, unplug from wall outlet
and restart installation (page 5) see FAQ #9 on page 21.
Important
CAUTION:
• Disconnect power cord from wall before detaching the base unit from the Mattress Pad.
• DO NOT attempt to force the plug. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit only one
way into an outlet. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician.
• DO NOT cover the base.
NOTE: The base may be warm during operation. This is normal.
