Logic Equation Configuration
Press the key to open the Main Menu.
Highlight Logic Equations.
Select Equation
Select the equation to be configured.
Equation n/Element 1
Select the source required for element 1.
Refer to Appendix A on page 77 for a description of sources.
Press the key to logically invert the selected source (set to NOT)
Equation n/Element 2
Select the operator required to combine elements 1 and 3:
END – Ends equation
AND – Output is 1 if both inputs are 1, but 0 for all other possible inputs
OR
– Output is 1 if one or the other or both inputs are 1, but 0 if both inputs are 0
XOR – Output is 1 if either, but not both, inputs are 1, but 0 if both inputs are 0 or 1
NAND – Output is 0 if both inputs are 1, but 1 if one or the other or both inputs are 0
NOR – Output is 1 if both inputs are 0, but 0 if one or the other or both inputs are 1
Equation n/Element 3
Repeat previous two steps for elements 3 to 7.
Odd numbered elements = operands
Even numbered elements = operators
