Entering Numbers

Enter numbers into a text message while in number mode (123).
Note: See "Changing the Text Entry Mode" on page 38 for instructions on
changing text entry modes.
While in 123 mode, press the key labeled with the number
that you wish to insert into your message. For example,
press to enter the number '4' in your message.

Entering Symbols

Symbol mode enables you to enter symbols such as @ or % into
message text.
Note: See "Changing the Text Entry Mode" on page 38 for instructions on
changing text entry modes.
While in Symbols mode, use the Prev soft key and the Next

soft key to page through the symbols, if necessary.
Press the key that corresponds to the symbol that you wish
