24.4 Minimum Groove Depth of Guide Bars

The minimum groove depth of a guide bar depends on the
pitch of the guide bar.
– Minimum groove depth for .325" pitch guide bars:
0.236 in. (6 mm)

24.5 Depth Gauge Setting

The depth gauge setting of a saw chain depends on the pitch
of the chain.
– Depth gauge setting for .325" pitch chains: 0.026 in.
(0.65 mm)
