9. Connect Devices to the NJ1000G
Now you may connect networking devices such as computers, servers, access points,
IP cameras, and Voice Over IP (VoIP) telephones to any of the four LAN ports on the
front of the NJ1000G. Remember, if power is supplied to the NJ1000G by 802.3at or
via the local, external power supply, then PoE PSE power will be available on ports 1
and
2.
10. Troubleshooting: Check the LEDs
Verify the NJ1000G installation by checking the LEDs according to this table:

Description
On — A device is connected to the NJ1000G and a link has been established.
Off — There is no connection to the NJ1000G.
On — 802.3af PoE is being supplied.
Off — No PoE is being supplied.
