As stated above the Loop is limited to seven devices. Another restriction

include the 15 metre and 30 metre extension options that are available.
Overloading the Loop will result in a blown fuse on the Loop interface
circuitry. The troubleshooting procedure is to replace the assembly that
contains the Loop interface circuitry and then

refigure the power loading on the Loop. If the loading is
too highl the Loop will have to be unloaded by removing devices until
the power loading is in the proper range.
