Basic Recording Operation

Switch on the R-05's power (p. 26).

Set the sampling rate (p. 42).
3.
Specify the Rec Mode (file type) (p. 42).
4.
Press [MENU] twice to return to the main
screen.

Fast-forward /
Move to next song
Record /
Stop
Recording-standby

Adjust the recording level.
Press [
] to enter recording-standby mode,
and adjust the level of the sound you're
recording (p. 44).
6.
Start recording.
In recording-standby mode (REC indicator
blinking), press [
The REC indicator will light, and recording will
begin.
By turning on the [HOLD] switch after recording
begins, you can prevent recording from being
stopped or the recording level from being
changed even if buttons are pressed
inadvertently.
• The built-in mics cannot be used if a mic or
other device is connected to the MIC jack or
LINE IN jack. If you want to use the built-in
mics, do not connect anything to the MIC jack
or LINE IN jack.
