Playing Rhythm

There are two ways to start the rhythm. You can press the [Start/Stop] button
to start the rhythm, or you can use Synchro Start to have the rhythm start when
you play the lower keyboard or the pedal keyboard.
You can also make the rhythm start with an intro, or stop with an ending.

Starting at the Press of a Button

Starting with an Added Intro
1.
Press the [Intro] button.
2.
Press the [Start/Stop] button.
The Intro is played and the Rhythm starts.
While the Intro is playing, the [Intro] button indicator will light, until the Intro
ends then the button indicator will go dark.
Starting Without an Intro
1.
Press the [Start/Stop] button.
The Rhythm starts without an Intro being played.
Making the Intro Short and Simple
1.
Press the Variation [1] button.
2.
Press the [Intro] button.
3.
Press the [Start/Stop] button.
A short Intro is played and the Rhythm starts.
Using Rhythm Performance
The functions of the [Intro]
button, [Ending] button and
[Start/Stop] button can be
assigned to the foot switches
located on each side of the
Expression Pedal (p. 134).
You can change the operation
of the Fill In [Auto] button,
[Break] button, [Intro] button,
and [Ending] button (p. 215).
