PIN Controlled Mode and Security Mode

In addition to the regular modes (Standard Mode/External Output Mode/Batch Mode), this product also has the two
modes PIN Controlled Mode and Security Mode. This section describes precautions for using the product in the PIN
Controlled Mode and Security Mode.

Publish Mode

PIN Controlled Mode
In PIN Controlled Mode, only a publisher authenticated using the identity authentication function can publish a disc
after the disc image and the label data file are created on the client computer. In addition, the disc that was published
can be received only by a publisher who enters a user number and PIN to be certified as the person who published the
disc.
