Activating the Child Safety Lock when the cooktop is in the standby mode: Child Lock prevents activation of any sensor key, except for the “Lock” key, so you must deactivate the child lock, then press the “ON/OFF” key to enter into Readiness Mode. SUMMIT APPLIANCE Felix Storch, Inc.
