Boot Diskette
A diskette which includes a boot sector, enabling it to load the operating system
from the diskette.
Booting
A loading operation which transfers the operating system to the main memory.
Bps
The speed (in bits per second) with which information is transmitted over a data
link.

Cache
Fast intermediate memory between the work memory and the CPU.
Cardbus interface
This interface is compatible with 32-bit Cardbus Cards with PCI performance com-
pliant with the PC Card standard.
CD ROM
(Compact Disc – Read Only Memory) Removable memory for large amounts of
