Follow the steps under "On a Wall Plate
or Wall" on Page 7, then apply these ad-
ditional instructions for placement on a
wall.

a screw into each

modular cord into the

adapter through the grooves on the
bracket.
3. Align the bracket's keyhole slots
with the mounting screws and slide
the base downward to secure it.

CONNECTING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY
PACK
The ET-1109 comes with a recharge-
able nickel-cadmium battery pack in the
handset, but not connected. Before us-
ing your phone, you must connect the
battery pack, then charge it for about 24
hours.
1. Press down and slide off the battery
pack compartment cover.
2. Lift the battery pack out of the com-
partment.
3. Plug the battery pack's connector in-
to the socket in the compartment,
(the connector fits only one way), re-
place the battery pack, and replace
the cover.
