Driver and Utility Software Maintenance
This chapter describes how to uninstall or upgrade the Prestige driver and utility software.
8.1
Removing the Driver and Utility Software
Follow the steps below to remove the Prestige driver and the utility software.
Step 1.
Click Start, Programs,
Prestige 610 ADSL PCI
Modem, Uninstall.
Step 2.
When prompted, click Yes to
remove the driver and the
utility software.
Step 3.
For Windows 2000: DO NOT restart the computer when prompted. Shut down the computer
from the Start menu (click Start, Shut Down and select Shut down to shut down the
computer). If you are not going to install a new driver, you must remove the Prestige from your
computer.
For other Windows versions: When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes and then click
Finish.
Driver and Utility Software Maintenance
Save and close all programs before you start.
