Dispose of packaging in an environ-
mentally-friendly manner. This 
  a ppliance is labelled in accordance 
with European Directive 2012/19/EU 
concerning used electrical and 
  e lectronic appliances (waste electrical 
and electronic equipment – WEEE). 
The guideline determines the frame-
work for the return and recycling 
of used appliances as applicable 
throughout the EU. Please ask your 
specialist retailer about current 
  d isposal facilities.
In the following tables, you will find solutions for problems or faults which you can easily 
rectify yourself. If a fault cannot be eliminated, please contact customer service.

  ■ Check the power supply.
  ■ Plug the mains plug into the mains.

  ■ Turn the rotary switch to y. Disconnect 
the mains plug.
  ■ Reduce the processing quantity.
  ■ Allow the appliance to cool down to room 
temperature.
  ■ Turn the rotary switch to y. 
  ■ Press the release button and push the 
swivel arm down until it locks into place.
  ■ Turn the rotary switch to y. Disconnect 
the mains plug.
  ■ Tighten the bowl by turning until the stop.
  ■ Tighten the bevel gear and close the 
locking lever completely.
  ■ Remove accessory. 
  ■ Press the release button and open 
the swivel arm.
