Connecting the Power Supply
Turn off the power switch q.
Insert the machine plug w into the machine socket
e. Insert the power supply plug r into the outlet t.
Turn on the power switch.

For Your Safety:
While in operation, always keep your eyes on the
sewing area, and do not touch any moving parts
such as the thread take-up lever, loopers, handwheel
needle or knives. Always turn off the power switch
and unplug from the power supply:
- when leaving the machine unattended,
- when attaching or removing parts,
- when threading or cleaning the machine.
Do not place anything on the foot control, otherwise
the machine will run intermittently.
Operating Instructions:
The symbol "O" of a switch indicates the "off"
position of a switch.
Controlling Sewing Speed
Foot control
Pressing on the foot control can vary sewing speed.
The harder you press the foot control, the faster the
machine runs.
Step on the speed controller with the presser foot
lifter up, and practice controlling speed.
Operating Instructions:
Foot controller Model YC-483N-1 is for use with this
overlocker model 8002D.
