Sewing
1. This overlocker is designed and manufactured for household use only.
2. The machine should never be left unattended when plugged in.
3. Use the machine on a flat and stable table.
4. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
5. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
6. Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer as contained in this instruction manual.
7. Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the overlocker needles and
upper knife.
8. Always use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
9. Do not use bent needles.
10. Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. It may deflect the needle causing it to break.

Maintenance

1. Never operate the machine if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water.
2. Return this overlocker to the nearest authorised service/repair centre for examination, repair, electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
3. Switch this overlocker off when making any adjustment, such as threading the loopers, changing the
needles, upper knife or presser foot, and the like.
4. Always unplug this overlocker from the electrical outlet when removing covers, when making any other
adjustments mentioned in this instruction manual.

Never undertake your own repairs

Do not dismantle or modify the machine yourself. Never try to open or repair the device yourself other than
the maintenance described in this manual (page 40-42).
