4.16.7. Maintenance Status (MAINT. STAT)
Read only. Displays the status of the Maintenance limits.
Open the menu V V iew – Display Status, click on the M M aintenance tab and check
the S S ervice Schedule Status window.
4.16.8. Acknowledge Status (ACK. STATUS)
Read only. Acknowledges the current limit status.
Open the menu V V iew – Display Status, click on the M M aintenance tab and check
the S S ervice Schedule Status window.
4.16.9. Acknowledge (ACK.)
Acknowledges the current limit status.
To acknowledge an alert via SIMATIC PDM:
a) Open the menu V V iew – Device Status and click on the M M aintenance tab.
b) In the S S ervice Schedule Status section click on A A cknowledge Warnings.
To acknowledge an alert via the handheld programmer:
a) Press R R IGHT arrow twice to open parameter view and activate E E dit Mode.
b) Press R R IGHT arrow to acknowledge the alert.

4.17. Calibration Interval (CALIB. INTERVAL)

Notes:
• Four sets of parameters allow you to monitor the Device/Sensor Lifetimes and
set up Maintenance/Service schedules, based on operating hours instead of a
calendar-based schedule. See also R R emaining Device Lifetime, S S ervice Interval,
and C C alibration Interval.
• The device operates in years. To view Remaining Sensor Lifetime parameters in
hours or days (via SIMATIC PDM only) see T T otal Expected Sensor Life.
The device tracks calibration intervals based on operating hours and monitors the
predicted lifetime to the next calibration. You can modify the Total Calibration Interval,
set schedules for Maintenance Alerts, and acknowledge them.
To access these parameters via SIMATIC PDM:
Open the menu D D evice – Maintenance and select the C C alibration Interval tab.
After modifying values/units as required, click on W W rite to accept the change,
and R R ead to view the effect of the change.

In device, Maintenance parameters are displayed in years. In SIMATIC PDM, mainte-
nance parameter units are user selectable.
