Displaying the range

The menu displays the calculation of the total
range and the electrical range.
Press the ò button on the steering wheel
X
to open the menu list.
Press : or 9 on the steering wheel to
X
select the
Trip
menu.
Confirm by pressing a on the steering
X
wheel.
Press : or 9 to select the display with
X
the range specification.
Total range that can be covered is calculated
according to your current driving style, the
characteristics of the route covered and the
amount of fuel in the tank. If there is only a
small amount of fuel left in the fuel tank, a
vehicle being refueled C appears instead
of the total range.
The electrical range is calculated on the basis
of:
your current driving style in E-MODE
R
the characteristics of the route covered
R
current conditions that influence the elec-
R
trical energy consumption (
the condition of charge of the high-voltage
R
battery
When the condition of charge of the high-volt-
age battery is low, a vehicle with a charging
cable appears instead of the electric range.
If you reset the values in the trip computer
"From reset", the current taught-in values for
the range calculation are reset to default val-
ues. Reset values (see the vehicle Operator's
Manual).
