Making the Chassis Ground Connection

To prepare the ground wire:

Using a wire-stripping tool, strip each the insulation from the wire to 1 5/16-inches.
Slide the open end of the ground lug (accessory box) over the exposed area of the prepared
wire.
Using a crimping tool, crimp the ground lug to the wire.
