Finalizing the Installation

Face and Glass Removal

A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot viewing glass is provided with this
appliance and shall be installed for the protection of children and other at-risk individuals.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with the manufacturer's barrier for
this appliance (Front Barrier - sku# 250-03375, Side Barrier – sku# 250-03376).
The appliance must be completely cool before removing the glass.
Do not strike or slam the glass.
Remove the two screws securing the stove top. Lift the
a
stove top off the stove and place it aside.

Remove the convection
screen. It has keyhole
slots that fit over nuts on
the stove (you may need
to loosen the nuts holding
it in place).

Slide the screen upwards to
remove. Place it aside.

Lift the glass frame slightly,
swing the top forward, then
lift the glass frame to
disengage it from the bottom
guides.

Re-Attaching the Glass Frame:
a) Slide the two brackets on the bottom of the glass frame into the glass frame guides (hold glass frame at an angle.
b) Swing the glass frame into place - you may have to lift it slightly to allow it to fit over the top of the firebox.
c) Attach the upper latches (follow the instructions above in reverse).
d) Replace the stove top and secure with the two screws.
