Problem
Opener does not close and beeps
Opener does not respond to Remote Control
Opener stops before reaching full open /
close position
The door reverses unintentionally
The door reverses upon touching the floor
and the courtesy light flashes
The Opener does not close the door and the
indicator on one of the Photo Eyes flashes
The Opener is working properly but the
courtesy light does not turn on
The courtesy light does not turn off
Note: If installing operators on two doors in the same garage, Photo Eyes should be aligned as below:

Door balance test, refer to page 5.
Safety reverse test, refer to page 20.
Check chain/belt tension ( refer to page 7 for adjustment if necessary).
- Limit and Force adjustment may be necessary due to weather conditions.
Refer to pages 17-19 for adjustment. Conduct Safety Reverse Test after ANY
adjustments.
- Lubricate door rollers, bearings and hinges. The Opener is permanently
lubricated, DO NOT lubricate or grease the Opener, rail or door tracks.
Possible cause/Solution:
Count the number of beeps. The beeps indicate the source of the issue.
5-beeps:
limits not programmed correctly or lost—re-program opener,
see pg.17-19.
12-beeps: check input power (low-V)—call professional to check mains
power, relay malfunction—call professional to check or
replace logic board, or if 1" to 28" travel—call professional to
replace the RPM encoder.
20-beeps: Photo Eyes may be obstructed, not properly aligned or
installed—check connection and alignment, see pg.14 & 16.
25-beeps: obstruction detected—clear obstruction. Operate door
manually (pg. 24), if the door binds, sticks or is unbalanced
(pg.5) — call professional to make door and operator
adjustments
- Refer page 21 to reprogram Remote Control.
- Check Remote Control battery.
Travel Limit is not properly adjusted, check adjustment referring to pages
17-19. Conduct Safety Reverse Test after ANY adjustment.
- Make sure the Photo Eye Safety System is aligned and clear of
obstructions.
- If door is replaced or door condition has significant changes,
- Refer to page 5 to check the door balance
- Refer to page 17-19 to re-adjust Travel Limits and Travel Force.
Refer to page 17-19 to reset Travel Limits and Travel Force.
The Photo Eye Safety System is misaligned or obstructed, refer to
page16 for proper alignment.
Replace light bulb (A19 incandescent Max.100W).
Defective Logic Board.
