Burner Tube

The electrodes
1. Disconnect both the ignition and ionization plugs from
the electrodes and remove the nuts, retaining brackets
and electrodes and set aside.
2. Once the burner is installed to the burner door (see
page 39), install the electrodes in reverse order.
Torque nuts to 35 lb/in (4 Nm).
IMPORTANT
Check the gaps on the electrodes once the burner is
installed (see page 24) and install new gaskets and
O-rings for the electrodes.
The burner tube
1. Remove the eight M8 nuts from the burner tube and
set aside.
2. Remove the burner tube from the burner frame and
discard.
3. Remove and discard the burner tube gasket and clean
the burner frame surface.
4. Install the burner tube gasket to the burner tube.
5. Install the burner tube to the burner frame with eight
M8 nuts.
IMPORTANT
Do not remove the protective sleeve on the burner tube
until the burner is installed to the boiler.
6. Torque nuts to 88 lb/in (10 Nm).
