Replacing the WaterProof System Restrictor

Note:
In G 5xxx dishwashers, green restrictors (1.1 gallons per minute or 4.1 liters
per minute) must be installed in the WaterProof System.
1. Uninstall the appliance.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
3. Lay the machine on its back.
4. Remove the drip pan. See Section 010-4.2.
5. Release the hose clamp securing the drain hose to the sump.
6. Open the plastic cover securing the WaterProof system mounting
assembly.
7. Unscrew the WaterProof system from its mounting assembly.
8. Remove the rubber seal (Figure 050-26, Item 1) and filter insert (Figure
050-26, Item 2) from the threaded union.
