• The brightness level of the projected image will change accordingly when you switch between different input
signals.
• For best display picture results, you should select and use an input signal which outputs at the projector's native
resolution. Any other resolutions will be scaled by the projector depending upon the "aspect ratio" setting,
which may cause some image distortion or loss of picture clarity. See

Controlling the projector through a LAN environment

You can remotely control the projector from a computer by using a Web browser when the computer
and the projector are properly connected to the same local area network. There are 2 ways of
connection: Wired connection and Wireless connection. Go to Advanced Menu - Network for
LAN settings.
Once the projector and your computer are on the same local area network, you can access "BenQ
Projector Control System" through Web browser and start to control the projector. See

Using web control lock

This function is designed to prevent unauthorized people from maliciously changing the projector
settings through Web browser.
Go to Advanced Menu - Settings > Security Settings > Web Control Lock, and press
select On. Once enabled, it is required to enter the correct Account/ Password for changing the
projector settings through "BenQ Projector Control System" by a web browser.
For security reasons, the setting cannot be adjusted after it is set to On. The only way to disable it is enter "BenQ
Projector Control System" by a web browser and set Web Control Lock to Off.
Displaying image via QCast application through a LAN

Presenting from a USB Reader

This feature allows you to browse the image and document files stored on a USB flash drive connected
to the projector. It can eliminate the need for a computer source.
