– You can store traces in the personal
destination memory. When doing so, the
PCM suggests a name. You cannot select
rows with these default names by saying
their contents.
If you name the trace yourself, however,
you can select the row by saying its
contents.
– If you know the name of the destination,
you can also start route guidance directly
using the "go to destination ...*"
command.
û Activate voice control.

The list of previous destinations or the
personal destination memory is displayed.

û Scroll in the list if necessary using the "scroll
down" and "scroll up" commands until you see
the desired destination.
The following two options are available to you
for starting route guidance to a destination:
1. Say the row contents shown on the display.
2. Say the "Line number" command, directly
followed by the corresponding row number
shown to the right of the row.
Example for option 1:
û Activate voice control.
Beep
"Market Street".
The details for the list entry are displayed.
û Activate voice control.
Beep
"Start route guidance".
"Start route guidance".
The PCM calculates the route to the
destination.
Example for option 2:
û Activate voice control.
Beep
"Line number 3".

"Start route guidance".
"Start route guidance".
The PCM calculates the route to the
destination.
Entering points of interest
The "POI" menu provides you with access to points
of interest such as gas stations, parking
structures, restaurants, hotels, or hospitals, for
example.
The points of interest are divided into different
categories to make them easier for you to find.
With the voice control system, you can select a
point of interest by entering the category and
subcategory as well as the search area.
