Customize and filter the log messages display using the Column Settings icon.
The column settings apply when viewing the formatted (not raw) log messages.

To customize the columns
Go to Log&Report > Log Access.
Select the tab to view logs from, Memory, FortiAnalyzer or FortiGuard.
Select a log type from the Log Type list.
Select the View icon if you are viewing a log file on a FortiAnalyzer unit.
Select the Column Settings icon.
Select a column name and select one of the following to change the views of the
log information:

Select the right arrow to move selected fields from Available fields list to
Show these fields in this order list.
<-
Select the left arrow to move selected fields from the Show these fields
in this order list to the Available fields list.
Move up
Move the selected field up one position in the Show these fields list.
Move down
Move the selected field down one position in the Show these fields list.
Select OK.
Note: The Detailed Information column provides the entire raw log entry and is only needed
if the log contains information not available in any of the other columns. The VDOM column
displays which VDOM the log was recorded in.
You can filter the contents of the logs to find specific information within a large log
file or many log messages. Filtering provides a form of advanced search for each
column of information in the log.
