FBI CLOCK SET
Background:
As stated in PARAMETER 13 (see page 2-86), it may be desirable to
synchronize the CP-220A and the Automation System so that they both
display the same date and time. By programming PARAMETER 13, the
CP-220A will be prepared to provide this information to the computer when
it's requested, so the Automation System can adjust itself accordingly –
resulting in both units keeping in "sync." PARAMETER 25 is used to
determine exactly what data will be sent by the CP-220A during these
requests.
If PARAMETER 25 is left as factory programmed ([FBI CLOCK SET]), the
CP-220A will deliver the month, day, year, hours, minutes, and seconds,
whenever the "time" is requested by the Automation System. However, if
PARAMETER 25 is programmed for [RADIONICS], the CP-220A will
provide only the month, day, hour, and minutes, while omitting the year
and the seconds.
Programming Procedures:
When PARAMETER 25 is entered, [FBI CLOCK SET] will be displayed.
Use the NEXT key or the MANUAL/PREVIOUS key to alternate between
[FBI] and [RADIONICS], as required.
Default:
PARAMETER 25 is defaulted to [FBI].
Advancing to Next Parameter:
The next parameter in Category C is PARAMETER 39. Because it is not
sequential, it cannot be reached with a single press of the
advance to PARAMETER 39, press the N key.
The CP-220A displays the parameter just programmed ([PARAMETER
NUMBER 25]) with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number.
You can reach PARAMETER 39 by pressing the 3 key and the 9 key.
