Read and retain all safety and operating instructions. 2. This appliance should not be used near water such as a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, or washing machine. 3. The amplifier should be situated so that its location does not interfere with its proper ventilation. 4. This amplifier should be connected to a power supply of the type described in the operating instructions or marked on the amplifier. 5. Do not attempt to destroy the grounding or polarization components of this amplifier. 6. Wipe the amplifier with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the amplifier. 7. The AC adapter of the amplifier should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused for extended periods of time.

    Caution: To avoid injury, do not connect the adapter to a ceiling outlet. Using Your Amplifier Route Cables Route a 75 ohm (RG-6 or RG-6QS) coaxial cable from the amplifier to your input source (for example, a cable box or antenna) and to each receiver (for example, a TV or DVR). Note: • Use only the length of cable necessary to connect the amplifier to the input source and receiver. • Do not route cables where they might be cut, crimped, or crushed by normal activities.

Note: • Do not use pliers to tighten the screw on F-connectors. • Never connect both an outdoor antenna and the output from the amplifier to the antenna input of your TV or DVR without using a high-isolation A/B switch.

This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable to abuse, misuse, failure to follow instructions, improper installation or maintenance, alteration, accident, Acts of God (such as floods or lightning), or excess voltage or current; (b) improper or incorrectly performed repairs by persons who are not a RadioShack Authorized Service Facility; (c) consumables such as fuses or batter- ies; (d) ordinary wear and tear or cosmetic damage; (e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs; (f) costs of product removal, installation, set-up service, adjust- ment or reinstallation; and (g) claims by persons other than the original purchaser. Should a problem occur that is covered by this warranty, take the product and the RadioShack sales receipt as proof of purchase date to any RadioShack store in the U.S. RadioShack will, at its option, unless otherwise provided by law: (a) repair the product without charge for parts and labor; (b) replace the product with the same or a comparable product; or (c) refund the purchase price.
