Connect the Amplifiers
1. Connect your existing coaxial cable (up to 200 ft
(60 m)) to the outdoor amplifier's OUT terminal.
2. Connect the other end of your existing coaxial
cable to the indoor amplifier's INPUT terminal.
n
Note: If necessary, attach the spare weatherboot
to your existing coaxial cable to be connected to
the outdoor amplifier. Ask a sales associate for help
attaching the weatherboot. Or, to attach it by yourself,
cut off the F connector, slip the weatherboot onto the
cable, then assemble the F connector back again.

75-ohm terminator.
3. Connect the AC adapter to the indoor amplifier and
plug into a standard power outlet. The LED lights.
n
Caution: The power adapter must supply 12V DC and
deliver at least 200 mA. Its center tip must be set to positive
and its plug must fit the indoor amplifier's power jack. Using
an adapter that does not meet these specifications could
damage the indoor amplifier or adapter.

Adjust the Indoor Amplifier
Turn GAIN towards Min (counterclockwise) or Max (clockwise) for
best reception. The optimum setting depends on the location,
cable lengths, and number of connected devices.
If the signal received is weak, set SIGNAL BOOSTER to
ON to amplify the signal a second time through the indoor
amplifier. Otherwise set SIGNAL BOOSTER to OFF.

Mount the Indoor Amplifier
You can mount the indoor amplifier to a wall
with the supplied screws.
Installation Tips
Performance can vary greatly by
location. After you install the amplifier,
set FM TRAP on the outdoor amplifier
to ON, and adjust GAIN on the indoor amplifier. You may want
to try several GAIN settings to find the best reception.
Be sure to set FM TRAP when you connect the outdoor
amplifier to the antenna. Set to ON to prevent FM signal
interference. Set to OFF if connecting to an FM radio.
Remember to scan for channels (refer to your television user's
guide) after adjusting GAIN.
Antenna signals are directional; installing an antenna rotator
can help you position the antenna to receive the optimal signal.
Coaxial cables are available at your local RadioShack store or
online at www.radioshack.com.
