Configuring a Custom-defined Period for NTP time
Synchronization
You can configure the system to send an audit log message to a syslog server if the time difference from the NTP server is greater than a
threshold value (offset-threshold). However, time synchronization still occurs. To configure the offset-threshold, follow this procedure.
Specify the threshold time interval before which the system generates an NTP audit log message if the system time deviates from the
NTP server.
CONFIGURATION mode
ntp offset-threshold threshold-value
The range for threshold-value is from 0 to 999.
Dell(conf)#ntp offset-threshold 9
