DVD 5.1 CH input playback (VSX-709RDS)
Connect a component with 5.1 channel output to use the surround sound created by 5.1 channel playback.

There are two ways to switch on DVD 5.1 CH
mode. With the remote control press the DVD
MULTI CONTROL button. Then press the RCV

mode, SIGNAL SELECT, ATT, DIRECT, TONE, MID-
NIGHT mode, LOUDNESS and speakers B cannot be
operated.
• When 5.1CH input is selected, only the volume level
and channel levels can be set.
