Controlling the rest of your system
Button(s) Function
+10 button Use to add a decimal point when selecting a specific TV
channel.
INFO Press to get information on DTV programs.
ENTER/
Use to enter a channel.
DISC
& Select or adjust and navigate items on the menu screen.
ENTER ENTER brings up the DTV menus.
Press to select or adjust and navigate items on the menu
screen.

Controls for other components

This remote control can control these components after entering the proper codes or teaching
the receiver the commands (see Setting the remote to control other components on page 50 for
more on this). Use the MULTI CONTROL buttons to select the component.
Button (s) Function
SOURCE
Press to switch the component between standby and on. CD/MD/CD-R/VCR/DVD/LD/
Press to return to the start of the current track.
Repeated presses skips to the start of previous tracks.
Play the reverse side of the tape on a reversible deck.
Press to advance to the start of the next track.
Repeated presses skips to the start of following tracks.
Pause playback or recording.
Start playback.
Hold down for fast forward playback.
Hold down for fast reverse playback.
Stops playback (on some models, pressing this when the
disc is already stopped will cause the disc tray to open).
REC
Starts recording. To prevent accidental recording, this
(SHIFT+ ) button must be pressed twice to take effect.
