Controlling the rest of your system

Controls for TVs

This remote control can control components after
entering the proper codes or teaching the receiver the
commands (see Setting the remote to control other
components on page 71 for more on this). Use the input
source buttons to select the component.
• The TV CONTROL buttons on the remote control are
dedicated to control the TV assigned to the TV CONT
button. If you have two TVs, assign the main TV to the
TV CONT button.

TV Press to switch the component
assigned to the TV CONT
button on or off.
INPUT
Switches the TV input. (Not
SELECT possible with all models.)
TV CH +/– Selects channels.
TV VOL +/– Adjust the TV volume.
SOURCE Switches the TV or CATV between
standby and on.
Use to choose the 'A' commands
on a Satellite TV menu.
Use to choose the RED/B
commands on a Satellite TV/TV
menu.
Use to choose the CYAN/E
commands on a Satellite TV/TV
menu.
Use to choose the GREEN/C
commands on a Satellite TV/TV
menu.
Use to choose the YELLOW/D
commands on a Satellite TV/TV
menu.
AUDIO / DISP Use to switch audio tracks.
SUBTITLE Use to return to the previously
selected channel.
GUIDE Use as the GUIDE button for
navigating.
Switches TEXT OFF for TVs.
RETURN Use to select RETURN or EXIT.
Number Use to select a specific TV
buttons channel.
+10 button Use to add a decimal point when
selecting a specific TV channel.
ENTER/ Use to enter a channel.
DISC
MENU
Select the menu screen.
Press to select or adjust and
& ENTER navigate items on the menu
screen.
TOP MENU Switches TEXT ON for TVs.
