Port Diagnostic Checklist
Use the following checklist to diagnose port interface activity.
For more information about port states, see the Cisco Nexus 1000V Interface Configuration Guide,
Release 4.2(1)SV2(1.1).

Checklist
Verify that the module is active.
show module
Verify that the VSM is connected to the vCenter Server.
show svs connections
On the vSphere Client connected to vCenter Server, verify
that required port profiles are assigned to the physical NICS
and the virtual NICS.
Verify that the ports have been created.
show interface brief
Verify the state of the interface.
show interface ethernet
