The initial conditions must be set in NV Configuration before using the PT.
There are the following two methods for setting parameters in the NV Configu-
ration.
1. Setting from the NV-Designer
First, set the NV Configuration parameters in the NV-Designer, and then
connect the NV-Designer to the PT and transfer the NV Configuration to
the PT.

2. Setting from the System Menu on the PT
After transferring the NV Configuration, parts of it can be modified from the
PT System Menu using the following procedure. Touch the front panel on
the upper left corner, upper right corner, and lower right corner in that order
to display the System Menu.

Touch the upper left corner (1),
upper right corner (2), and then
the lower right cornet (3) in order.
The following parameters can be set from the PT System Menu only:
PT clock, LCD contrast, backlight, touch switches, and memory initializa-
tion.
