Menu overview
The control panel provides access to various menus to set up the machine or use
the machine's functions.
You can set menus easily using the touch screen.
• The home screen is shown on the touch screen on the control panel.
• Some menus are grayed out depending on your options or models.
• Some menu names may differ from your machine depending on its
options or the models.
• The menus are described in the Advanced Guide (see "Useful Setting
Menus" on page 187).

Introducing the Home Screen
Information
Prints various machine information and reports.
Eco
Displays Eco settings.
Direct USB
Enters the USB menu when USB memory is
inserted into the USB memory port on your
machine.
Browse current machine settings or change
Setup
machine values.
Displays the jobs currently running, completed or
Job Status
in queue.
Displays total pages printed.
Counter
View help and troubleshooting information.
Help
Displays the list of jobs stored in the machine. You

can delete or print the stored jobs on the list. You

Option
You want to customize the option settings

Toner Status
You can see the toner status.
Arrows
You can scroll through the options available in the
selected menu, and increase or decrease values.

You can go back to the previous screen.
